POF Center 70
Fully Automatic POF Assembly Machine The POF Center 70 is a fully automatic machine for assembling POF cable assemblies. A transfer system moves the POF cable ends from station to station for processing.
Function
The system marks, measures, cuts, coils, and ties the cable. The jackets are stripped from the cable ends. The cable ends are then milled with a diamond blade to achieve a smooth, square surface. The plastic ”MOST” type ferrules are laser-welded onto the cable ends. The insertion loss of each cable assembly is checked and the finished cable assemblies are stacked into containers. Optional upon request: installation of dust caps, processing of brass-ferrules, processing of other connector types.
