Overview
The Crimp SC 30PP3 pneumatic applicator is a highly reliable crimping tool designed for processing contacts in a strip, sorted transversely and longitudinally. The SC 30PP3 Crimp Tool can process these contacts in a range of cross-sections from 0.03 mm2 to 1.5 mm2 (AWG 32–16).
The tool works on the principle of two separate units, which are clamped to the SC 30 or PP 3 machines with the help of screws. The upper part of the tool (in the dovetail, the crimping dies, the puller and the pushing part of the cut-off are clamped) and the lower part of the tool (the anvil is clamped in the dovetail, and in of the front part, the cutting assembly that separates the contacts from the connecting strip) move against each other.
This enables a precise and sealed crimped joint (documented by a test report and a cross-section analysis) guaranteeing the highest level of processing quality.
The tools are clamped in the SC 30 and PP 3 machines, which are always equipped with a stripping unit with precise knives, precise jaws that guarantee a stable grip of the wire throughout the crimping and stripping process, a fine start sensor, guaranteeing the connection even with very thin wires, a crimped wire ejector and as a machine option, contact priming.
